A Decade of Cinema
Tracing our journey from a single screening to a cornerstone of cultural life in Trebeurden.
The First Projection
TY CINE was born from a simple idea: bringing the magic of the silver screen to the heart of Trebeurden. Our first screening gathered a handful of passionate locals in a makeshift hall, sparking a movement that would define our community's cultural life and reduce geographic barriers to culture.
Building the Community
As word spread, our audience grew. We introduced regular monthly screenings, blending independent features with beloved classics. The post-film discussions became as anticipated as the movies themselves, fostering a new space for dialogue among families, youth, and adults.

Beyond the Borders
Recognizing the need for broader access in surrounding rural areas, we launched our mobile cinema initiative. We began traveling to neighboring villages, ensuring that everyone had access to the transformative power of film, enriching community learning and social connection.
A Triumphant Return
After a period of global uncertainty, the return to communal viewing was profoundly emotional. We focused on documentaries that highlighted resilience and human connection, reaffirming our mission to unite the community through shared cultural experiences.

A Decade of Heritage
Celebrating ten years of cinematic heritage and rural warmth. Today, TY CINE stands as a vibrant cultural hub, continuing to discover diverse films and strengthen cultural life. We look forward to the next decade of storytelling and community building.
